Pendleton Ceramics, LLC. was founded in 2020 by Thomas the Potter, a passionate ceramic artist who wanted to share his love for pottery with the world. When in 1988 he ran out of drawing supplies, Tom was given a lump of clay by his college girlfriend, and now wife, which started him on his ceramic journey. Going on to enroll in ceramic c

When in 1988 he ran out of drawing supplies, Tom was given a lump of clay by his college girlfriend, and now wife, which started him on his ceramic journey. Going on to enroll in ceramic courses to keep enough units to stay eligible for competing in college athletics. He continued exploring the medium eventually obtaining degrees in Ceramics and Glass. Tom has now expanded his art to include a wide variety of handmade ceramic pieces.

Thomas uses only the finest materials to create his ceramics, sourcing clay from local suppliers whenever possible. His pieces are all handcrafted from Δ10 stoneware or porcelain, and each item is unique. Always striving to improve, he takes great pride in his attention to detail and the high quality of our work.

Thomas believes in sustainability and ethical production practices. He strives to minimize his environmental impact and supports his local community. He also believes in creating beautiful, functional and nonfunctional pieces that bring joy to those who obtain his pieces, hoping they last a lifetime.
