The girl who started it all. Originating with that first lump of clay she gifted to Tom. Jenée is the wife of Thomas the Potter, providing the support and inspiration for his art to thrive. She has been creating beautiful ceramics in her free time ever since the first sale they went to only being able to afford a carpet for a booth at an event in 1991. Her passion for pottery began. She has now grown and developed her own style of ceramic art.
Jenée uses traditional techniques to create her ceramics, including hand building, under glazing, and using oxide washes. She creates wonderfully complex textures and colors on her pieces, getting lost to time as she concentrates on her work. Her attention to detail and commitment to quality ensure that each piece is unique and of the highest standard.
Jenée creates a wide range of ceramics, including bitty bowls, garden masks, air plant pots, raku pieces, ornaments, and jewelry. Her products are both functional and beautiful, perfect for everyday use or special occasions. They bring a whimsical element of joy to wherever they are displayed.
